Rapper T.I. and his wife TamekaTinyCottle demanded their ex-friend Sabrina Peterson be found in contempt for failing to pay up on a five-figure debt she owes them, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, T.I., 44, and Tiny, 49, asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to set a hearing on the matter.

The duo believe Sabrina should not only be found in contempt, but sanctioned $1,000 per day until she pays the $96,000 the court ordered her to pay them in legal fees.

Their lawyer argued, “Despite this court’s repeated orders that [Sabrina] pay [T.I. and Tiny] their statutory attorneys’ fees and costs, [Sabrina] has continuously and willfully refused to do so.”

He continued, “Her blatant noncompliance with the orders not only demonstrates a disregard for the authority of this court but also imposes an unfair and ongoing financial burden on [T.I. and Tiny], who have been forced to expend additional resources to recover the attorney fees to which they are rightfully entitled.”

A judge has yet to rule.

Sabrina sued T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) and Tiny in 2021 for defamation, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and various other claims.

In her lawsuit, Sabrina claimed T.I. and Tiny caused her to receive threats after she publicly accused him of threatening to kill her. She claimed the rapper pulled a gun on her when she was having an argument with his assistant. Sabrina also publicly accused the duo of abusing women.

In response, Tiny posted a photo of Sabrina’s son with T.I.

Tiny captioned her post, “Hold up …. So you want your abuser to train your son … now when did you say my husband assaulted you? Did you change your mind or change it back? What’s up wit you today Pooh? I’m confused. Stop harassing my family. You strange. Everybody know you been special. Please Get help.”

T.I. and Tiny denied all allegations of wrongdoing. Their lawyer trashed Sabrina in court filings.

Their attorney labeled Sabrina as “an adjudged liar, a convicted felon with a lengthy rap sheet for crimes involving dishonesty and violent assault.”

The attorney said Sabrina “has a reputation for being unscrupulous.” T.I. and Tiny were able to convince the court to dismiss several claims.

Sabrina brought seven claims against the couple. The appeals court dismissed five of the seven and ordered her to pay fees as a result.

The court awarded them $96,000 in legal fees in October 2023. Sabrina was given a deadline to pay the judgment but failed to do so, according to T.I. and Tiny.

The couple asked the court to dismiss the entire case due to her failure to pay. In response, Sabrina and her legal team compared T.I. and Tiny’s actions to Diddy and Harvey Weinstein.

Sabrina’s lawyers said, “[T.I. and Tiny’s] motion should never have been filed. It is nothing more than a blatant grab for media attention — a desperate stunt to distract from the real issues at hand. It’s a common tactic we’ve seen used before by high-profile figures like Harvey Weinstein and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who sexually traffic women and then weaponize the press to shame and humiliate their victims, hoping to bury the truth under scandal and manipulation. Last month, the court shut down the request and ordered Sabrina’s case can proceed.

However, the judge noted that T.I. and Tiny had every right to bring a motion for contempt if Sabrina didn’t cough up the money immediately.
