“My life has been an adventure, a winding road of unexpected twists, beautiful turns, and roads I never saw coming,” the Sister Wivesstar, 55, shared via Instagram in a life update on Wednesday, June 1. “I’ve lived, loved, and lost. I’ve laughed till my sides hurt, and learned that not everything that ends is a failure.”
Meri went on to add that just because her marriage “ended,” that doesn’t mean she “failed.”
“It doesn’t erase love that once existed or lessons I learned. It just means that chapter reached its end. It left behind wisdom and growth, teaching me how to love better, show up more authentically, and understand what I will and won’t accept in a relationship,” she wrote.
Meri also shared that she has since “[changed] direction” of her business, ended friendships and made new ones.
“Life isn’t about trying to avoid heartbreak or disappointment. It’s about saying yes,” she continued. “I say yes to loving deeply, because that’s just how I love. I say yes to taking chances because I never want to wonder, ‘What if?’ I say yes to laughing, simply because I can. I say yes to adventures that don’t go according to plan because, well, that’s what adventure is!”
