Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Sparks Dating Rumors With ‘Mystery Man’ 11 Months After Amos Andrews Split

Hard launching a new romance? Sister Wives star Meri Brown sparked dating rumors with a “mystery man” 11 months after her split from Amos Andrews — and two years after her split from Kody Brown.

The TLC personality, 53, took to Instagram on December 28 to share a photo of herself and a man named Brandon Stone, whom she tagged in the post and seemingly dubbed “mystery man” in a hashtag. Meri’s “mystery man” wrapped his arm around her shoulder as they both flashed huge smiles at the camera.

“It’s a Christmas miracle! #MysteryMan #LifeIsGood @papabrandon1005,” Meri captioned the post.

Many fans rushed to the comments speculating that Meri was in a new relationship.

“I pray he is who we all want him to be. You’ve waited wayyyyy too long for a man to put you first,” one user wrote, while another person added, “So happy for you! You deserve this!”

However, others weren’t so sure. “I knew instantly he wasn’t a romantic interest. He’s too young and I don’t see [Meri] into young guys,” one person commented. Another user added, “Lol he looks wayyyy younger so I doubt it haha.”

One person claiming to be Brandon’s sister chimed in to shut down rumors that he and Meri were in a relationship.

“I love all these comments. I never comment on these, but that guy is my brother. They aren’t dating,” the woman, named Haili, wrote. She later added, “They do know each other, but they aren’t dating. They ran into each other recently, and it’s been a while since they’ve seen each other. Hence the ‘it’s a Christmas miracle.’”

Another woman named Heather, who claimed to be Brandon’s girlfriend, also shut down the speculation. “Sorry all, the #mysteryman is mine and the most amazing boyfriend ever! And yes, I agree with you all, he is [fire emoji],” she wrote.

Meri seemingly corroborated Heather’s statement by replying, “I hear nothing but good about you! You’re a saint to put up with our shenanigans!”

Even if Meri and Brandon are not romantically involved with one another, the Lizzie’s Heritage Inn owner did hint to People in an interview published on December 26 that she was “dating non-exclusively.”

“Right now, I’m dating, not exclusively. But you date non-exclusively, and then you’re like, ‘OK, I can focus on this person. Let’s be exclusive,'” she said. “And then, see if it works into something.”

Meri revealed that she’s mostly using dating sites to find potential matches, but she has also “met a couple of people through people.”

“But when you live in a small town, and then this day and age, it seems to be the thing is the dating sites,” she added.

Meri’s dating adventure comes after her most recent relationship with Amos, 55, ended in February after just four months. She had been secretly dating him for three months before they went public in January. Meri announced their split via a lengthy Instagram post.

“Just because I care a lot about someone, and him me, does not equate to full compatibility for a long-term relationship. When we have different dreams and aspirations, different communication styles and values, different visions for our futures, and these things aren’t aligning, it’s then that we need to make hard decisions,” she wrote, in part.

Meri later added, “I honor and care about the past four months, who I spent it with, and what I learned about myself through it. I know what’s important to me in a relationship, and I’m confident in myself while I’m single as well.”

The mom of one told People of Amos, “He just wasn’t my person. We dated exclusively for a few months, and he just wasn’t my person.”

Before Amos, Meri was legally married to Kody, 55, from 1990 to 2014. The pair got divorced so that Kody could legally marry Robyn Brown, but he and Meri remained spiritually married until they announced their split in January 2023.

“In light of a recent unapproved press release, we feel compelled to share our own truth, in our own way and in our own timing,” their statement read. “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”
