‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brown’s Son Axel Is Getting So Big — See His Cutest Photos!

Sister Wives alum Madison Brush (née Brown) was the first child in the reality TV brood to tie the knot. Janelle and Kody Brown’s daughter married her husband Caleb Brush in 2016 — and she didn’t waste any time working on baby No. 1! 

Fans got to see Maddie and Caleb make their pregnancy announcement to their family in season 8, and little Axel was born on May 20, 2017. 

Maddie’s parents later revealed details about her home birth, sharing that she was in labor for a total of 72 hours.

She was surrounded by her family members in her parents’ home, and they all encouraged her throughout the delivery process. Even though it was a long and difficult experience, Maddie gushed about what it felt like to finally meet her baby boy.

“It feels exciting,” the reality star told TLC cameras after her son’s arrival. “I don’t even know how to describe how it felt when I first saw him or held him. It was like, a bunch of relief because I was done with labor, it was surreal.”

In January 2019, Maddie and Caleb announced they were expecting baby No. 2, and by August of that year, they were adjusting to life as a new family of four.

Of course, the couple’s daughter, Evangalynn Kodi Brush, received a warm welcome from her extended family. 

Prior to her birth, Evangalynn (a.k.a. Evie) was diagnosed with FATCO, which is a rare genetic disease that causes congenital limb formation.

“Maybe the cutest baby that I have ever seen!” Kody tweeted about his precious granddaughter, adding that he was confident “she will not be hindered” due to the condition. 

Evie and her big brother are now closer than ever, and Sister Wives fans can’t get enough sweet photos of their family.

These days, the Brush brood is still living in North Carolina after purchasing a new home in July 2021. Last summer, Christine and Kody‘s daughter, Ysabel, also moved into their abode, making it a full house!

We’re sure Axel is loving every minute of it.
