If you see Scott Disick and Sofia Richie together and think, “Aww, they’re kind of cute,” and not, “Uhh, that age gap is kind of creepy,” we need to have a talk. We know, we know. It all seemed kind of normal after Scott’s whole weird will-they-won’t-they thing with Bella Thorne where they were maybe making out and cuddling and maybe just partying. After his tumultuous love life post-Kourtney Kardashian, it’s nice to see him settling down with somebody and engaging in an actual relationship instead of just hanging out with a “different hooker every day” or whatever. But, at the end of the day, here’s the thing: Scott Disick is 34 years old and a father of three. Sofia Richie is just 19.
And, for the record, Sofia only just turned 19 back in August. Meaning she could’ve easily been only 18 when she and Scott first started checking each other out. After all, remember how they were hanging out all the way back in June? Sofia claims they were just “homies” at the time, but now that they’re actually dating, it’s easy to imagine that there was something there.
Sofia’s dad, Lionel Richie, has even come out saying that he doesn’t, uh, love the relationship. “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?” he told Us Weekly. And while we’re not exactly scared, we do still think a 34 year old dating a 19 year old is pretty freakin’ weird. Scott likely has a drinking problem — and Sofia isn’t even old enough to legally get a drink (although, hey, now that we think of it, is that the one possible bright side in this scenario?).
