‘RHONJ’ Alum Danielle Staub’s Husband Marty Caffery Responds To ‘Abuse’ Claims

He’s telling his side of the story. Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub has been dealing with a pretty messy divorce with her latest husband, Marty Caffrey, but it looks like the hits just keep on coming with these two. In court documents obtained by In Touch, Danielle recently accused her estranged husband of “physical and verbal abuse,” as they continue their divorce proceedings. But when Marty spoke exclusively with In Touch, he denied all of the accusations that Danielle made against him.

Danielle, 56, claimed in her newly filed answer and counterclaim that Marty, 66, has subjected her to “acts of extreme cruelty” since May 9, just five days after they tied the knot. She accused him of repeatedly recording her during sex without her knowledge and then threatening to expose the tapes.

In a statement to In Touch, Marty denied those claims. “Not true. I have never videoed anything in that house,” he said.

The RHONJ alum also alleged in the documents that her husband “repeatedly mocked and harassed [her] for being sexually abused by [her] father as a child,” as well as referencing Danielle and her daughters’ relationship as a ‘lesbian affair,’ purposefully to hurt Defendant [Danielle] by referencing incest and embarrass her about her childhood abuse,” the filing said.

Marty also denied those claims in a statement to In Touch. “Not true. I have always been sympathetic to her story and how horrible her childhood was,” he said. “This is disgustingly a lie. Again, what kind of mind even comes up with these accusations?”

Danielle also claimed that Marty “verbally and emotionally abused” her daughters, Christine, 24, and Jillian, 20, with “disparaging, offensive and threatening language.” During a vacation to Anguilla, he allegedly called the girls “entitled c–ts,” according to the documents.

Marty denied the claims as well. “All I can say is “Oh my God.” I never said any such thing. Her daughters know this and are probably pissed off at her for using them for these horrible claims. I feel sorry for them,” he told In Touch.

With Danielle’s divorce, who knows what way it’ll end. Each side has their own recollection of the turn of events, but either way, we just hope both parties can find a little peace when all is said and done.
