Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie Reportedly Iced Out of Royal Easter Service by Prince William
A new report claims Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie won’t be at the royal Easter service — and it’s rumored that Prince William was the one pulling the strings behind the scenes to make it happen.
“The message was simple,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack on Wednesday, April 1. “If certain people are there, we won’t be.”
“You can’t have a royal event without William and his family,” the source continued. “If they don’t show, the whole thing collapses.”
While the source claimed that “nothing moves” without King Charles III, William, 43, “made it very clear what he wanted.” Plus, he allegedly framed it as a way to improve the monarch’s image overall.
“He’s thinking like a CEO,” the source explained. “Who’s on the stage matters. Who’s not — matters more. William controls the future of the royal family. Him, Catherine, and their three children — that’s the monarchy people show up for.”
The source also compared William’s role to that of someone who “controls the board” at a large company: “He has the votes – and it’s not even close.”
Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, have reportedly been shunned by William ever since their father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his communication with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein while he was a trade envoy.
However, Andrew, 66, has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
