Princess Kate is moving forward without a stylist and personal assistant as her former longtime aide opens up about the laundry list of to-do’s behind the role.
Natasha Archer, 37 — who worked closely with the royal, 44, from 2010 to 2025 — recently spoke about her experience after leaving Kensington Palace last July.
In an interview with The Telegraph, per People, Archer admitted she found one label particularly frustrating.
“I often get referred to as a stylist, and it’s quite frustrating,” she said, explaining her role went far beyond fashion and included scheduling, logistics and emotional support. “There are so many levels of support – yes, admin, but also just being there sometimes, being that calmness to someone.”

Archer had a front-row seat to the couple’s many milestones, from helping Kate and Prince William welcome Prince George in 2013 to styling some of the princess’s most photographed looks. Archer has since launched her own consulting business focused on supporting high-profile clients.
According to People, the mom of three — who also sharesPrincess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, with William, 43 — has no plans to hire a replacement.
Archer described her time working with the Prince and Princess of Wales as an “extraordinary privilege,” adding that she built lasting friendships during her 15-year tenure.
