This is heartbreaking. Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside his clothing store in L.A. on Sunday, March 31, In Touch can confirm.

The Grammy-nominated musician died in a shooting at Marathon Clothing on Slauson Avenue, according to a law enforcement source. Police are still investigating the situation. He was 33 years old.

TMZ reports that two other men were shot outside the store. The outlet also reports that eyewitnesses heard multiple shots fired. The suspect is reportedly a black male in his 20s.

Earlier that day, the rapper, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, tweeted, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.” In 2010, Hussle confirmed his affiliation with the L.A. street gang the Crips in a Complex magazine interview.

The rapper dropped his first studio album, “Victory Lap,” in 2018, which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys. He is survived by his girlfriend Lauren London and his two children.

Many fans and fellow celebrities took to social media to share their condolences, including Drake. “My whole energy is just at a low right now hearing this,” the Scorpion rapper wrote on Instagram. “We just linked for the first time in years and said we were gonna do a new song this summer cause it had been too long. You were having the best run and I was so happy watching from distance fam nobody ever talks down on your name you were a real one to your people and to the rest of us. I’m only doing this here cause I want the world to know I saw you as a man of respect and a don. Rest easy my g.”

Tyga shared a message as well: “Praying for my boy right now. S–t crazy. You’ve come [too] far for the mission to be stopped. God watch over this brave leader.”

“This doesn’t make any sense!” Rihanna captioned a photo of Hussle and his daughter. “My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! I’m so sorry this happened to you @nipseyhussle.”
