Nick Cannon Slams Jennifer Lopez While Using Ex Mariah Carey’s Iconic Line: ‘I Don’t Know Her’

Comedian Nick Cannon has got nothing but love for ex-wife Mariah Carey and he’s not afraid to show it. The Masked Singer host, 38, borrowed the “Always Be My Baby” singer’s infamous phrase to throw his own shade at the 48-year-old’s music enemy Jennifer Lopez.

The Wild ‘N Out creator is stepping in for Wendy Williams as a guest host during her medical leave, and he just might be having a little too much fun.

During the show’s “Hot Topics” segment, he confessed to the crowd who his top three Hollywood crushes are. “My top three: No. 1, Mariah. The amazing mother, superstar singer, No. 2: Halle Berry. I’m still working on it … I still got some more tattoo space. No. 3: Yesterday, I heard she out there dating. Naomi Campbell. That’s what you want. Them is women,” Nick admitted.

When a producer followed up and asked about the “Jenny From The Block” singer, 49, he had the most perfect response. ”I don’t know her,” he joked. “That was a joke for the lambs! Shoutout to the lambs!”

Let’s throw it back to the 2000s when a German Paparazzi asked the Glitter actress what her thoughts were on J. Lo. Little did she know her response would continue to haunt her for the rest of her life. “I don’t know her,” the ‘’All I Want For Christmas” singer said while shaking her head. Come on, Mariah. Everyone knows J. Lo.

The iconic line helped create the go-to meme for when someone is trying to throw major shade –  and it really never gets old.

During a 2016 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Mariah explained to Andy Cohen what she actually meant by her notorious statement. “If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you, I’d be like, ‘I don’t know him, but he seems cool’ or ‘I don’t know him,'” Mariah confessed.

The 50-year-old father followed up by asking Mariah, “do you think she’s cool?“ and yet again the “Touch My Body” singer responded with the classic “I don’t know her.”

Well … If Mimi doesn’t know her, then Nick must not either! Relationships in Hollywood can definitely be confusing sometimes, but it is nice to see Nick Cannon repping his ex – straight up!
