So ~Obsessed~? Nick Cannon Comments on Mariah Carey’s Instagram Video Proving They Are the Friendly Exes

Supportive exes! Mariah Carey posted a video of herself singing with her two kids, Moroccan and Monroe, both 8 — whom she shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon — and the actor couldn’t help but show some love for his former wifey on social media.

“The latest passengers on the #obsessed train. #TikTok,” the 49-year-old captioned the clip on Instagram where she is singing her hit song “Obsessed” as her kiddos run out from under her giant red skirt on Monday, August 5. Nick, 38, left some laughing emojis in the comments section.

Of course, plenty of other fans wrote how much they love her dress and her voice. One person wrote, “Wow only a queen could write ‘Obsessed’ and then be the last one on its train,” while another echoed, “You could sneak in a lot of snacks into the movie theater with that dress.” A third chimed in, writing, “I love these random singing moments.”

Mariah and Nick tied the knot in 2008 but went their separate ways in 2016. However, many social media users are hoping that the former flames will reunite in the future. One wrote, “I miss y’all together,” while a second person chimed in, writing, “Nick and Mariah forever.” A third added, “Can you and Mariah get back together??? Brother, get your woman back!!!!”

These days, the brunette beauty is seeing her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, but she is able to successfully coparent with the comedian. “People don’t know she is such a nourishing and giving individual,” Nick told In Touch in February 2018. “I have never seen someone so giving. [Mariah] remembers everyone’s birthday, favorite color — she’s like one of those types of people, always sending cakes, flowers and balloons. She’s an amazing, outstanding, top-of-the-line mother. It’s like Mary Poppins is your mom.”

This isn’t the first time the former Nickelodeon star has interacted with his ex-wife on the ‘Gram, either. In July, the “We Belong Together” crooner participated in the viral #bottlecapchallenge, and she even added her own spin. Instead of kicking off the top of the bottle, Mariah sang and hit that legendary high note that sent that cap flying. “Hilarious!!!!” Nick exclaimed at the time.
