New Footage in Search for Nancy Guthrie Shows Suspicious Individual Near Her Home

New footage has emerged in the search for Nancy Guthrie.

TMZ obtained security footage from a resident five miles from Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona, home, taken the night of her disappearance.

In the video, a man is seen with two backpacks as he tries to enter a locked gate in what appears to be a parking lot. The new footage was captured at 1:52 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, the same night Guthrie went missing.

One of the backpacks seen in the new footage appears similar to the one worn by the masked, armed individual seen in footage recovered from Guthrie’s doorbell camera.

The timing of the new video is crucial, as Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos previously revealed that Guthrie’s security camera alerted a person detected on her property at 2:12 a.m.

According to TMZ, the FBI is aware of the suspicious new video and is investigating the lead.

The 84-year-old mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie was first reported missing after friends noticed she was absent from her regular church service.

Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Camron, continue to ask for prayers as the search continues.

“We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope,” she shared via Instagram on Thursday, February 12.
