Kate Hudson seems to be making moves on 'Coldplay' singer, Chris Martin — conveniently while on-again, off-again girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence and ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow are both out of town!

The 'Something Borrowed' star was spotted in Malibu over the weekend with Chris, 38, and their respective children, Ryder, 11, Bing, 3, Apple, 10, and Moses, 8.

“Since Kate and Matt Bellamy split last fall, she’s been clingy with Chris, calling him all the time to suggest get-togethers under the guise of setting up play dates for the kids — which is exactly how the beach day and dinner date came to be," an insider told 'In Touch.'

But if the actress plans to get with the singer, she'll have to deal with the wrath of Jennifer and Gwyneth, who are both less than pleased with the situation.

“[Jen's] not going to just let this happen,” a source close to the 24-year-old states. “She’s invested a lot of time into making this relationship work.”
