Hours after news broke that Natasha Lyonne had reportedly been escorted off a red-eye flight before it took off from the Los Angeles airport, the former Poker Face star spoke out.
“My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports. Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn’t in the cards,” Lyonne, 47, wrote in a message she shared on X on Thursday, April 9.
“Who owns page six/New York Post now again?” the American Pie actress concluded.
Earlier that same day, Page Six claimed that Lyonne was spotted being removed from a flight heading to New York City. The incident allegedly occurred on the night of Wednesday, April, 8, just hours after she had attended the Euphoria Season 3 premiere.
According to the outlet, Lyonne was seen in the same black stockings and sunglasses she was wearing at the premiere.
Flight attendants reportedly made multiple attempts to get the star to comply with their instructions, but she appeared to be dozing off behind her sunglasses. At one point, she was startled awake and exclaimed, “Ah! You scared me!”

A Delta employee then boarded the plane and asked the Orange Is the New Black alum, “Ma’am, do you need medical attention?” before adding, “Ma’am, I need you to come off the plane. Do you need help with your belongings?”
Lyonne was then overheard asking, “Where are we?” before someone replied, “We’re still in LA. The plane hasn’t gone anywhere. The plane is not going anywhere until you come off it.”
She eventually exited the plane and another passenger told Page Six that the captain on the flight gave more details on the situation.
“We have a passenger who for whatever reason … wouldn’t follow some basic commands …” the captain reportedly explained. “We had a passenger who didn’t seem up to the task tonight so that’s why they were asked to be booked on another flight — I do apologize for the inconvenience, but we will get you to New York as quickly and as safely as possible.”
