Megan Fox is focusing on herself in the aftermath of her latest split from Machine Gun Kelly. Although the two have broken up and gotten back together a number of times throughout their relationship, she “isn’t getting back together with him and is moving on” this time, according to a new report from Us Weekly.
“There are huge trust issues between them,” a source told the outlet. “This has happened many times before, but this time hurt even deeper because she is pregnant.”
As TMZ first reported, Megan, 38, and MGK, 34, split over Thanksgiving weekend after she reportedly found “material” on her fiancé’s phone that was “upsetting.” The breakup happened less than one month after Megan announced that she and MGK were expecting their first child together (she already has three kids with Brian Austin Green, while he has one teenage daughter with an ex).
Amid their latest issues, the actress and rapper “haven’t been in contact this last week,” according to Us Weekly’s source, who added, “Things are not looking great between them right now.” However, the insider said that Megan is hopeful she’ll be able to have a “healthy coparenting relationship” with her ex after some time apart. “MGK is really letting Megan lead the way right now and is giving her space,” the source explained.
Megan and MGK got together in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. At the time, she had not confirmed her separation from Brian, 51, whom she married in 2010. The Transformers star filed for divorce in November 2020 and it was finalized in October 2021. MGK proposed just three months later.
Two days after news of Megan and MGK’s latest breakup was reported, Brian admitted that he had “no idea” about the split. When a TMZ reporter addressed the rumors that the “Emo Girl” singer may have been unfaithful, Brian retorted, “Grow up. She’s pregnant.”
However, he added, “I just want the best for her. I want the best for the baby. I want the best for our kids. That’s a shame. That’s a shame. I’m heartbroken about it because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”
Following his split from Megan, the actor moved on with Sharna Burgess in the fall of 2020. They welcomed their son, Zane, in June 2022 and got engaged in September 2023. However, the two don’t have any wedding plans set in stone yet.
“We haven’t been able to plan or talk about options that we want or don’t want. I certainly go back and forth between big parties, small ones,” Sharna, 39, said in November. Brian added, “We have four young kids at home and, honestly, it’s the last thing on our mind. It’s way too much. We are concerned with sleeping right now and making sure we and the kids have all the food groups that we need.”
The former DWTS pro concluded, “Raising good humans is more our concern right now.”
