Showing support. Matt Lauer and his estranged wife, Annette Roque, were in great spirits while cheering on their daughter, Romy, at the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Wednesday, August 28. A source tells In Touch exclusively they were “very friendly” with each other at the event, proving they are making strides with their coparenting arrangement.

“They spent the entire time together side by side, chatting, cheering on Romy, taking photos,” the source revealed to In Touch. “Matt and Annette were together for hours.”

The exes reportedly came and left separately, but it looks like they are getting along, which is “a big difference from last year when Annette would barely speak to him.”

Back in November 2017, the disgraced TV host was fired from NBC after several women shockingly accused him of “inappropriate sexual behavior.” The scandal reportedly put Matt and Annette, 52, on shaky ground with their romance, as she allegedly kicked him out of their house shortly after. The exes previously tied the knot back in October 1998 and aside from their 15-year-old daughter, Matt and Annette are also proud parents to two sons — Jack, 18, and 12-year-old, Thijs.

In July 2019, Annette officially filed for divorce from Matt, 61, at the Suffolk County Court in New York. The news came only one month after reports started surfacing, claiming the exes had finally reached an agreement on their settlement.

“Annette and the kids virtually went into hiding to heal from the scandal and divorce,” the insider explained to In Touch exclusively, while giving an update on their current relationship. “They’ve come out on the other side.”

Looking ahead, Annette is set to secure a whopping $25 million in their divorce settlement, according to UsWeekly. The former couple of 21 years will reportedly divide up their properties — Annette will keep the Hamptons horse farm, while Matt will get their New Zealand land. The exes will also share joint custody.
