Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Make Rare Appearance at Brother Trent’s Wedding
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen are showing support for their family.
The Olsen twins recently stepped out — in style of course — for a rare appearance during their older brother, Trent’s wedding. In a photo shared to Instagram on Thursday, June 26, of the May event by their new sister-in-law, Alexis, the twins can be seen in their signature black, donning floorlength gowns for the occasion.
The pair were all smiles as they stood alongside their brother and his bride. The family photo also featured other members of the Olsen brood, including their sister and Marvel star, Elizabeth Olsen, who can be seen, also in black, peering out with a smile from the back row. It’s unclear if Elizabeth, who is expecting her first child with husband Robbie Arnett, stood in the back to hide her baby bump at the time, or to let her shorter sisters stand in front.
“Family🤍,” Alexis and Trent captioned the joint post.
Other photos shared by the happy couple also captured some heartwarming family moments from the Olsens, including a sweet shot of Mary-Kate hugging her older brother.
While Mary-Kate and Ashley do step out on occasion — including the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards this past November, where their luxury fashion brand, The Row, was honored American Accessory Designer of the Year — the wedding marked a rare sighting of the pair, who are largely absent from the public eye and social media.
Mary-Kate and Ashley may be seldomly photographed outside of the odd paparazzi pic, but the pair were household names up through the mid 2000s, first coming to fame in the 1990s on the beloved family sitcom, Full House, where they played Michelle Tanner. The twins went on to helm a hugely successful entertainment empire, which included a slew of shows and movies, before stepping away from the cameras to pursue fashion with their celebrity-loved label.
The wedding photos also come just days after Mary-Kate and Ashley celebrated their 40th birthday, a milestone for the twins, as the famously tight-knit Olsen family marks a handful of happy moments.
