Lisa Barlow Dragged Over ‘Photoshopped’ Photo After Costars’ Marriage Troubles
Lisa Barlow’s Instagram post celebrating her marriage sparked fan speculation about photo editing, with ‘RHOSLC’ viewers zeroing in on husband John Barlow’s hand.
Lisa Barlow’s latest Instagram post was meant to celebrate her marriage, but some Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans say they couldn’t stop looking at one unexpected detail.
Amid reports that costars Angie Katsanevas and Whitney Rose are each facing marital troubles, Lisa, 51, shared what appeared to be a loved-up photo with husband John Barlow.
“Partners in it all,” she captioned the image, seemingly highlighting the strength of their relationship while other Bravo marriages have made headlines.
Instead of focusing on the sweet sentiment, however, fans quickly flooded the comments with speculation that the photo had been edited.
“Petty given the timing,” one commenter chimed in. But most zeroed in on 51-year-old John’s hand, claiming its skin tone looked noticeably different from the rest of his body and suggesting the image may have been altered before it was posted.
“The AI John Barlow hand fail,” one commenter wrote.

“John go a little hard with the self tanner on his hand orrrrrr,” another said.
Many questioned whether the photo had been heavily retouched, with several users speculating that it looked photoshopped.
“Everyone’s missing the black hand she forgot to edit to match the rest of the skin tone on the photoshopped body she put her husband’s face on,” one Reddit user said in a thread. “That’s more important than the shade.”
In Touch has not independently verified whether the image was edited, and neither Lisa nor John has publicly addressed the fan speculation.
The post came just days after multiple reports claimed RHOSLC star Whitney and her husband Justin have been “living separate lives” following more than 16 years of marriage. Those reports followed news that Angie and her husband Shawn had separated after 27 years together.
Whether or not the photo was edited remains unclear, but one thing is certain: what was intended as a heartfelt tribute to John quickly became a hot topic among RHOSLC fans, with many paying more attention to the image itself than the caption.
