Lindsey Vonn Has 'No' Plans to Read Ex Tiger Woods' Memoir and Has Not Spoken to Him

She’s over it. Lindsey Vonn was asked whether she is excited to read her ex Tiger Woods‘ upcoming memoir at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard New York Gold Medal Gala on Thursday, October 24, and had a very straight answer: an unequivocal “No.” She was also asked whether she’s even spoken to Tiger lately, and the pro skier said no to that as well, Us Weekly reported.

Instead, Lindsey, 35, said that she is “focused on” her own memoir, Rise: My Story. That book is set to be released sometime in 2020. “I think I have plenty to talk about with my injuries, obviously, my entire career and my personal life, my family,” she told The Associated Press in May. “There’s a lot that’s happened in my life, and I feel like I want to share that and empower other women to be independent and strong and believe in themselves.”

Tiger, 43, announced earlier in October that he is working on his first memoir, Back. “I’ve been in the spotlight for a long time, and because of that, there have been books and articles and TV shows about me, most filled with errors, speculative and wrong,” he noted in a statement released by HarperCollins Publishers on October 15. “This book is my definitive story. It’s in my words and expresses my thoughts. It describes how I feel and what’s happened in my life. I’ve been working at it steadily, and I’m looking forward to continuing the process and creating a book that people will want to read.”

But it doesn’t sound like Lindsey will be one of the people interested in reading it. The former couple started dating in 2013, only three years after Tiger made headlines cheating on his wife at the time, Elin Nordegren. The pair split up in May 2015.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship,” Lindsey wrote on Facebook on May 3, 2015. “I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart.”

“I will always admire and respect Tiger,” the athlete added. “He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.” Just don’t expect her to run out to Barnes and Noble for his memoir, apparently …
