Lamar Odom Calls Khloé Kardashian ‘A Great Mother’ But Admits They Don’t Talk Anymore

Amicable exes. Lamar Odom praised his former flame, Khloé Kardashian, while making an appearance at the Dancing With the Stars press line at Planet Hollywood on Wednesday, August 21, by calling the reality star a “great mother” to her daughter, True Thompson. While chatting with In Touch exclusively, the former NBA baller gave an update about his ex.

When asked if he still remains in contact with Khloé, 35, Lamar exclusively revealed to In Touch, “No. But she’s alright, she’ll be alright.” Lamar, 39, also gave the Good American jeans founder kudos for her parenting skills at the event in New York City, addressing how “she’s a great mother.” As fans may recall, the former Los Angeles Laker just recently went public with his new relationship.

Lamar first sparked romance rumors with Sabrina Parr, 32, when he was photographed kissing the health and lifestyle coach in Atlanta. On August 2, he posted a photo of them posing together on Instagram captioned, “‘What we have is much more than they can see’ … @getuptoparr.” Unfortunately, some fans mistook his recent post celebrating his new love as shade towards his ex-wife, however he later took to Instagram to clear the air about the ordeal.

“I’m a bit disappointed to read that people are using my words to enforce their own perceptions and assumptions pointing towards things that just are not MY TRUTH OR REALITY,” Lamar wrote.

“This post isn’t against anyone including my ex-wife that I still respect deeply. I am just PRO love. Can I do that without people feeling offended? Why does that make you mad? Our black women have been held down for centuries! I am now deciding to send them and my NEW WOMAN a lot of love.”

“My post goes out to the new leading woman in my life, that I’m gonna tell every day how beautiful she is, from the inside out. Thanks, @getuptoparr for teaching me what real self-value means. It changed my entire mindset. #woke ❤✊🏿,” he added.

Lamar recently told Dish Nation that he’s “definitely moved on” from Khloé during a candid interview on August 12. He had nothing but nice things to say about her family, stating, “I knew what I was getting myself into. They always did right by me.”
