Khloé Kardashian slammed ex-husband Lamar Odom after the former NBA star and his friend claimed in Untold: The Life and Death of Lamar Odom that his real motive for marrying her was her fame.
“You’re sitting on camera and saying you married me for fame?” Kardashian, 41, said while talking to best friend Malika Haqq during the Wednesday, April 15, episode of her Khloé in Wonderland podcast.
Haqq, 43, said she felt that Odom, 46, was only saying “that now because [he] has mud on [his] face.”
“He’s saying it now because that’s the only leg he has to stand on,” she continued. “He can’t get you back.”
Kardashian went on to question why Odom even wanted her to be a part of the documentary.
“Behind the scenes – you, your friends – you guys are all saying how you were with me just for fame,” the Good American founder added. “I feel so dumb. I spent hours and time doing this documentary as a favor. I’m not paid one penny.”
In the documentary, Odom’s childhood friend Anthony “Pumpkin” Booker claimed that the former Lakers player came and talked to him “for two hours” the night of his and Kardashian’s wedding in 2009.

“He was explaining that the moves he’s doing – he was doing it to try to better his future,” Booker told the cameras.
The documentary then cut to Odom who said, “I’m just watching how she live and their lifestyle. I’m like, ‘I know this is where I wanna be.’ Like, ‘This is how I wanna live.’”
“She took care of me,” he said during the April 6 episode. “But God took care of me the most. What I came back from is like a medical miracle.”
Odom also pushed back on the Kardashians star’s claim that his father, Joe Odom, wanted to remove him from life support when he was hospitalized for the overdose.
“If you know Joe Odom, I don’t think that’s something he would ever say,” he explained. “He was my biggest fan.”
