The growing divide between Michael Jackson‘s children Paris, Prince and Bigi has become a huge source of anguish for their 96-year-old grandmother, Katherine Jackson, a source tells In Touch.
“Don’t forget, Katherine helped raise these three kids,” says the source. “They were still very young when Michael passed, so her attachment to them runs deep. She’s heartbroken that they’ve had this falling out.”
In the Thursday, June 11 edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack, insiders alleged that 28-year-old Paris’ ongoing legal battle with their late father’s estate has fractured her relationship with Prince, 29, and Bigi, 24.
“[They] believe this stopped being about protecting Michael’s legacy a long time ago,” said the insider. “They see it as a fight for control, and they’re exhausted by it.”
So much so, insiders claimed that the once-close siblings are barely speaking at this point.

Paris, however, “insists that they aren’t estranged,” In Touch‘s source reveals. “She says they’re taking some space but she strongly feels it will all work out, that they will see she is only doing this for everyone’s best interest.”
Only time will tell, though.
“[That’s] where it gets especially tough because Katherine is no spring chicken,” notes the source. “The sooner this can get solved, the better … but it’s complicated because both Prince and Bigi have to be on the same page” as the singer-songwriter.
Adds the source: “The sad thing is that Paris genuinely has her heart in the right place, so it’s very hard to understand what issue Prince and Bigi have.”
