Josiah Duggar And Lauren Swanson Are On Their First ‘Spontaneous’ Married Adventure

And they’re off! Not long after their wedding and honeymoon, Josiah Duggar and his new bride Lauren Swanson are embarking on a new adventure. No, they’re not pregnant — or at least they haven’t announced anything just yet, though knowing the Duggars that news may be on the way within the next few months. Instead, they’re following in their family tradition of taking an RV trip together. How fun!

The couple packed up everything they needed into an RV trailer hitched to the back of their black truck, and they hit the road over the weekend. “Life should never be too busy to have fun…” the couple wrote on Instagram — though if we had to guess who did the actual posting, our money would be on Lauren. Ever since they decided to share Si’s Instagram account, it seems like she’s been the one sharing pics and writing captions. “#firstmarriedrvtrip #bespontaneous #marriedtomybestfriend,” she hashtagged the pic.

Speaking of pregnancy announcements, though, fans do think they’ve spotted a clue indicating that Lauren may have baby news on the way. “Lauren has been pinning baby stuff on her Pinterest, so she could be pregnant right now,” a fan noted on reddit. “We’ll probably get a SiRen pregnancy announcement next month,” added another, predicting an October statement from the family. 

And while that’s some pretty serious sleuthing from fans, we’ll have to wait for any official confirmation. After all, the Swansons and Duggars frequently have baby news. Lauren could’ve been inspired by the birth of her youngest brother Duke, who’s just about the same age as Josiah’s nephew Gideon Forsyth. Or maybe she’s helping plan a baby shower for a Duggar girl who’s expecting but hasn’t shared the news yet. Fans are constantly on the lookout for baby bumps from Jill and Jessa Duggar, and Anna Duggar gets her fair share of speculation, too.

Then again, the new couple could be putting off expanding their family. If they’re taking a page out of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo‘s book, they might’ve decided to enjoy married life for a while first before becoming parents. Hey, you only get to be newlyweds once — and taking an RV trip has got to be a lot harder when you’ve got rambunctious little ones running around the trailer.
