Thomas became one of the biggest teen heartthrobs of the ’90s after landing the role of middle child Randy Taylor on Home Improvement. The sitcom was a huge hit with Tim Allen starring in the lead as Randy’s dad and Richardson taking on the role of Randy’s mom, and Thomas’ popularity exploded.
He quickly graced the covers of teen magazines, amassed a large number of screaming fans and was cast in movies like Tom and Huck, Wild America and I’ll Be Home for Christmas. Thomas also voiced young Simba in Disney’s 1994 animated film The Lion King.

Thomas rarely makes public appearances these days, which is why Richardson’s latest post was such a treat for fans who used to swoon over him on their TVs every week.
