Jennifer Lopez Addresses Alex Rodriguez Cheating Rumors: ‘I Know What the Truth Is’

After Alex Rodriguez proposed to Jennifer Lopez, everyone was happy for the power couple except one person: Jose Canseco — who very publicly claimed that Alex allegedly cheated on the pop star. Now, the brunette beauty is addressing the rumors once and for all.

“Yeah, I mean, it doesn’t matter. I know what the truth is,” the 49-year-old said on “The Breakfast Power Club” radio show on Wednesday, April 10. “I know who he is, he knows who I am, we are just happy. We are not going to let other people come out and tell us what our relationship is. I know what our relationship is.”

The Hollywood A-listers got engaged in the Bahamas on March 9. The next day, the 54-year-old accused the dad-of-two, 43, of being unfaithful to his lady. “Watching World of Dance watching J. Lo text Alex Rodriguez. Little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica. Poor girl, she has no idea who he really is,” he tweeted on March 10. “I was there a few months back with her when he called her on the phone. Alex Rodriguez, stop being a piece of s–t. Stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez.”

However, his ex-wife immediately denied the claims. “Those false accusations Jose is making are not true,” she tweeted on March 12. “I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over five. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose, he can keep playing with his alien friends.”

After two years together, the duo decided to take the next step in their relationship. So, did the “Jenny from the Block” singer know that he was going to get down on one knee? Apparently not! “We had talked a little about it and we had gone back and forth, where is this going, what are we doing, blah blah blah. It’s been a couple of years, but I didn’t know he was going to propose that weekend,” she confessed.

The New York native couldn’t help but gush about her man. “We love each other. We do. We have a lot of love and respect and admiration for each other and that is so nice,” she said. “Also, I have never been with somebody who lets me be the full shine J. Lo, all myself, and all of the sides of me. That makes me really happy because you always want somebody get a little jealous of something or a little something, and he is like, ‘Just go baby, just go.’”

Clearly, these two are end game.
