Jennifer Garner Jokes She Wears Her Sunglasses Under Her Normal Glasses to Identify Her Kids

LOL! It seems Jennifer Garner may have a hard time telling her three children apart. The hilarious Hollywood star dished the funny way she identifies her kids, 14-year-old Violet, 11-year-old Seraphina and 8-year-old Sam.

“Well, how else am I supposed to know which one’s my kid?” Jen, 47, captioned a super cute photo of herself basking in the sun while wearing a pair of sunglasses over her reading glasses. The doting mom — who shares her brood of her kids with ex-husband Ben Affleck — uploaded the laughworthy post via Instagram on Wednesday, March 12.

Jen’s fans joined in on the laughter as they flooded her comments section with clever replies. “Plus, embarrassing them is always fun,” one fan wrote, while another joked, “You do what you gotta do! 👏😂” A third fan chimed in, writing, “I sport this look all the time!! Now I know it’s fashionable!!”

There’s no doubt the 13 Going on 30 star is one of social media’s most beloved users considering she’s always sharing comical and silly moments as a mom. For daughter Seraphina’s recent birthday, Jen proved she was the life of the party as she posted the most entertaining snap while rollerblading.

“Old lady knees and Xanadu dreams,” she captioned the pic of herself bending down on one leg and lifting the other on blades. To make the matter even more humorous, the Alias alum added the hashtags, “careful there, Bessie,” “get after it, girls” and “Monday it up” at the end of her post. LOL!

Although Jen loves sharing funny and sweet stories about her kids on social media, she doesn’t actually post any photos of Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. The Golden Globe winner explained why in a previous interview with InStyle.

“It’s so gnarly to be a kid now. I guard my kids’ privacy as much as I possibly can, and I’ve never posted pictures of them on Instagram,” she confessed in August 2019. “I used to refuse to say their names during interviews — but everyone knows their names! I would just say ‘my eldest,’ which I still do out of habit a lot.”

“While Jen would love nothing more than to share glimpses inside her life as a mom, she said keeping her kids’ lives private is the only source of normalcy they have. “There’s no implied judgment of people who do put their kids up there. I just don’t think most kids have been hounded in the way that mine were when they were little,” she continued. “We were completely hounded 24/7 for 10 solid years, and it changes you.”
