Jenelle Evans And Mom Barbara Aren’t Just Getting Along — They’re Even Getting Breakfast

After so many years of trouble, it seems like Jenelle Evans and her mom Barbara Evans are finally getting along, and Teen Mom fans couldn’t be more excited. Near the end of August, the mother-daughter duo were caught in a picture together with Jace, smiling with the 9-year-old sitting between them. “Whatever makes him happy,” Jenelle captioned the pic, shocking fans with her ability to be in the same room as Babs and not absolutely explode. 

Now, she and her mom are taking things a step further, and they’re even hanging out just the two of them. Jenelle and Babs grabbed tea — and seemingly spilled the tea, too — when they met up for breakfast. “Had a cute breakfast with a cute little lady,” Jenelle captioned the shot, adding the hashtags #GossipGirl and #SippinTea.

Fans were overjoyed to see the family members getting along, especially after recent spats saw the Teen Mom 2 star refusing to film alongside her own mom, whether it was at reunions or back home in North Carolina. “This makes my heart happy,” wrote one fan, with another commenting, “Love seeing this. We only have one mother so enjoy and love her while you can.”

While some commenters weren’t ready to believe the good news just yet, writing, “I wish this was genuine and not just a photo op,” we’re crossing our fingers that the relationship has really been mended. It’s important for Jace, of course, but also for Jenelle’s other kids who deserve to see and love their grandma. 

The sweet breakfast comes just a few weeks after Jenelle tweeted that Babs and her husband David Eason were finally starting to get along. Though most fans didn’t believe it at the time, we can see how Jenelle’s hubby and mom making peace would pave the way for her to do the same.

After seeing how this family has interacted with each other on screen in the past, we’d be surprised to find out that everyone came together and everything really is 100% great. But we can certainly hope — and this picture definitely speaks for itself.
