Jana Duggar Shows Off Renovation Project With Husband Stephen Wissmann: ‘Sweet Memories Together’
Jana Wissmann (née Duggar) gave fans a peek at her fun-filled month of March, showing off her renovation project with husband Stephen Wissmann.
“1000-piece jigsaw puzzle with tile. Evening bike rides, many trips to Lowe’s, and sweet memories spent together,” she captioned her video shared via Instagram on Monday, March 31, adding the hashtags, “#loweshomeimprovement #besthubbyever #bikerides #warmerweather.”
In the clip, Jana, 35, and Stephen, 31, were enjoying each other’s company, picking up several boxes from the store before grabbing a bite to eat.
Jana filmed the shower restoration underway, sharing the progress with a measuring tape and tools nearby before using a woodcutter. “You two make a great team!” one fan gushed.
The Counting On alum also shared some snippets from their private time together, cherishing a scenic view outside, savoring a tasty breakfast and cuddling on the couch.
Jana even proudly displayed her “Mrs.” coffee mug nearly eight months after the couple got married in August 2024.
Jana and Stephen have since gone on their “first adventure” with her in-laws, documenting the camping trip and more in a recent YouTube video as they visited Old Threshers in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
During their getaway, Stephen proudly introduced the former TLC personality as his spouse in front of a big crowd. “This is my wife, Jana. What’s your favorite part? This is her first year here, we got married two and a half weeks ago,” he gushed while on the microphone.
The duo tied the knot during a “simple, classic” ceremony in front of 500 guests in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, as In Touch previously reported.
“I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday,” Jana told People about her romantic nuptials. “For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in. Reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this truly is something that I’ve dreamed of.’ And just to see it coming about is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”
“The guys will be in black suits, the girls in champagne-colored dresses, and then just white flowers and greenery,” Jana shared about her ceremony.
Jessa Seewald (née Duggar) served as her maid of honor, while her sister-in-law Abbie Duggar and sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar), Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar), Johannah Duggar and Jordyn Duggar were bridesmaids.
“Coming from two bigger families, we love to be able to get together and celebrate moments like these,” Jana added. “And so to have all of them there, it just means a lot.”
While speaking about how many of her siblings got married younger, Jana said that although it was a long and tough wait to find her perfect match, she is grateful it worked out the way it did.
“I haven’t always understood what the bigger picture is, but I know that God knows what is best for all of us. And so for me, it’s getting married later,” she noted. “Each of our stories will be written differently. If we were all the exact same, it would be a boring life. So I think it’s neat how God orchestrates.”
