Jacob Roloff’s Fiancée Isabel Rock Seemingly Slams Trolls in Cryptic Instagram Post About ‘Maturity’

She’s over the haters. Jacob Roloff’s fiancée, Isabel Rock, seemingly slammed trolls in a cryptic Instagram Story post, and we don’t blame her — the poor girl has been under a lot of scrutiny in the lead up to the couple’s wedding! On July 30, she shared what appeared to be an image of a forest with the caption, “I think true maturity is learning what people say about you, not taking it personally and realizing it has nothing to do with you.” Wise words.

On July 31, the 23-year-old also shared a photo of herself and wrote, in part, “The love I have grown for myself is a strength I never thought I’d master. I used to believe the lie that I was not worthy of loving myself. But I see here, on this app that it is really easy for me to slip into the habit of comparison … The people with the always good hair and beautifully toned bodies. I’m happy for them, but it has all become over-saturated to me. Like life is some big contest. Seeing that all the time makes you start to wonder … Am I doing this right? Sometimes that translates to no, probably not and therefore, negative self-talk wants to seep in. Even though I know deep down I don’t really care about that stuff. It’s just the nature of comparison.”

As Isabel and 22-year-old Jacob’s wedding approaches, the duo has dealt with their share of trolls and rumors. For instance, when Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff shared several photos on his Instagram on July 23 and included one shot of himself with his son Jacob and his future daughter-in-law, fans started speculating that Isabel was disguising a growing baby bump. Why? Thanks to the comfy, loose dress she wore in the photo.

“She sure does look pregnant to me that’s for sure,” one person wrote. “Are they expecting?” another person asked. But Isabel stopped that line of questioning real fast. “Definitely not pregnant,” she wrote. “Just a flowy dress.”

Jacob’s fiancée regularly shares words of wisdom on social media, and just days before she imparted some of that wisdom on her Story, she wrote something similar on a separate post. “I have always walked a fine line with social media and having that honesty used against me,” she said. “While I try and show up very vulnerably and share parts of my story on social media, this is just a tiny sliver of my life. What you see here is not even the half of it.”

Isabel continued, “I’m speaking up for myself when I say lovingly, you do not really know me just because you follow me. And I don’t know you. So while I hold off on judgments about your life, just because I may have a public profile doesn’t mean I am not immune to hurtful words or harsh judgments about my own. You are free to have opinions, but some are better kept to yourself, I promise. I am still a human being just like you are.” It seems like she’s been thinking about this a lot lately, and we think it’s about time that her followers just leave her be.
