Tom Brady has some strong feelings about his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, welcoming a baby with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, after their 2022 divorce.

The ex-NFL pro, 47, is reportedly “happy” for the supermodel, 44, and “wishes her nothing but the best,” a source told Page Six on Wednesday, February 5. In addition, a separate source told the outlet that Tom even reached out to his ex to “congratulate her.”

News ignited hours earlier when TMZ reported that Gisele “recently” gave birth to baby No. 3, her first with Joaquim, 37. The exact birth date is unclear.

The model previously welcomed two kids, son Benjamin Rein Brady and daughter Vivian Lake Brady, with her ex-husband. Gisele and the NFL legend divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

The birth of Gisele’s newborn comes four months after In Touch confirmed the former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s pregnancy in October 2024. TMZ was the first to report the news and revealed that she was “five or six months along” at the time of the announcement.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source close to the couple told People that day.

The couple began dating in June 2023 after Joaquim served as Gisele’s jiu-jitsu instructor. They became close friends following her divorce, and a source exclusively told In Touch in November 2024 that Gisele was “overjoyed” about having a baby with Joaquim.

“The relationship has felt right to her from the beginning. Everything seemed easy and organic,” the source explained. “She wasn’t sure she would ever have feelings like this again, and to have it happen so soon after her toxic divorce was a surprise. But Gisele finally feels seen. Friends are saying she calls Joaquim her soulmate — and that they’re getting married.”

Gisele and Joaquim seemingly have wedding bells in their future, but the insider insisted that the runway model wants a “low-key wedding in Miami, with just family in attendance.” The ceremony would also be “mostly in Portuguese” because both she and Joaquim are from Brazil.

The source added that Gisele was “secretly praying for a girl,” but she would “be happy as long as the baby is healthy.”

“She grew up with five sisters and loves the energy of being surrounded by women. Her siblings helped Gisele survive the divorce. Her relationship with Joaquim was a breath of fresh air after her divorce,” the source explained. “And becoming a mother again is truly a dream come true for Gisele.”

Gisele shared the news of her pregnancy with Tom out of respect, according to the source.

“They don’t really communicate outside of matters regarding their children, so he’s not a big part of her life. She only shared the news with him out of respect for their kids so they wouldn’t have to keep any secrets,” the insider concluded.

Gisele has yet to publicly comment on her pregnancy as of publication.
