Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s Relationship Timeline Is Full of Ups and Downs Amid Divorce

Britney Spears and ex-husband Sam Asghari were first linked in late 2016 and made things Instagram official in January 2017. Sam stayed by the singer’s side through her conservatorship battle, and the pair got married in June 2022.
In Touch confirmed they split and were planning to divorce more than one year later.
“Britney wants out of her marriage. A divorce is in the works,” a source exclusively told In Touch on August 16, 2023. “Even though she’s pushed Sam to the brink with her erratic behavior, he would probably keep enduring it, but she’s adamant.”
Eight months after filing, the former couple finalized their divorce, upholding the terms of their prenuptial agreement.
