When it comes to controversial lyrics, Eminem has never shied away from, well, anything. But this time he may have seriously crossed the line — with a lyric about raping rising rap star Iggy Azalea.
The rhyme in question comes from the recently leaked clip of “Vegas,” which is rumored to be the next track off his upcoming album “Shady XV.”
He says, “Back to Basic/Unless you’re Nicki, grab you by the wrist/Let’s ski, so what’s it gon’ be?/Put that sh-t away Iggy/You don’t wanna blow that rape whistle on me/Scream!/I love it.”

This comes on the heels of another controversy for Shady. Last week, the 42-year-old made headlines for threatening Lana Del Rey while alluding to the Ray Rice domestic abuse scandal with the line, “I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight.”
In the past, Eminem has stood by his contentious lyrics, telling ‘Rolling Stone,’ “I poke fun at other people, myself.”
Somehow, we don’t think threatening violence is the same “poking fun”…
