Drake and Sophie Brussaux’s Son Adonis Has a Smile That Lights Up the Room: See His Cutest Pics

Champagne baby! Drake dropped a major surprise on fans when he shared the first photo of his son, Adonis, on March 30, 2020 — more than two years after the adorable, curly-haired child was born on October 11, 2017.

The rapper’s first public slideshow of his son, whom he shares with Sophie Brussaux, was captioned with a message to stay positive amid the coronavirus outbreak.

“It’s impossible to always control your surroundings, but when you shift the focus to how you want to feel, everything will conspire to assist you,” the “Laugh Now, Cry Later” rapper wrote.

“I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite,” he added. “Until then please keep your lights on.”

In the comments, fans were elated to see photos of Adonis for the first time and moved by Drake’s words. “What a beautiful little guy you have, and the message we all needed,” one fan wrote with a blue heart emoji. “Beautiful words, beautiful pictures, a beautiful family and the most beautiful blonde curls! God bless your family,” another added.

Drake had initially kept Adonis a secret, but opened up about his son after Pusha T rapped he was “hiding a child” in the song “The Story of Adidon” in May 2018.

The Canadian rapper confirmed he had a child the following month and shed new light about being a father in his 2018 track “Emotionless,” with the verses: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world. I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”

“It was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world,” Drake said of his Instagram post on an episode of the podcast “Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne on Apple Music.”

“I just woke up one morning and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do,” he added.

Since then, Adonis has become the “God’s Plan” rapper’s right-hand man, appearing beside him at events like the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where Drake accepted the Artist of the Decade Award. After thanking his team, Drake picked up Adonis and said, “I want to dedicate this award to you.”

Now, the growing child is starting to look like a mini-me of his dad and is bilingual in English and French … at five years old! Adonis may have a future in the NBA because the kid has one heck of a shot.Ms
