‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ Star Duane Chapman’s Son Makes Rare Appearance On His Dad’s Instagram

Happy (Belated!) Birthday, Leland. Duane “Dog” Chapman’s son made a rare appearance on his father’s Instagram earlier this week in honor of his birthday.

“Happy Birthday My Son,” the Dog the Bounty Hunter star captioned the sweet snap with his mini-me on Dec. 16.

Fans quickly began commenting on the pic, with many agreeing they look pretty darn alike. “Damn Leland is starting to look just like his daddy 👏,” one person wrote, while another added, “You two look so much alike.” A third, however, just couldn’t control their thirst: “Damn good-looking men,” they chimed in.

The last time fans caught a glimpse of the “handsome” men together was back in January. Dog’s wife, Beth, shared the pic on her Instagram and captioned it, “These two make me laugh! #dog #dogandbeth #alabama.” Aww.

It could be that Beth’s recent diagnosis has brought the family together again. On Nov. 28, Beth learned her cancer had returned. Just days later on Dec. 2, Dog revealed exclusively to In Touch, however, that she’s back home following emergency surgery. “She’s much more comfortable now she can breathe, but she just wanted to come back to Colorado, she loves it here,” he said. “They told us they didn’t want her to leave the hospital, but she was adamant, she just wanted to be home.”

Previously, Beth was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer, and her doctors gave her a 50/50 shot at beating it. She did the first time, but unfortunately, it appears she has to face the same challenge all over again. Thankfully, she has a wonderful family by her side — including her stepson, Leland — to support her through the tough time.
