Demi Moore underwent a major hair chop!

On Friday, February 27, the famed actress, 63, looked nearly unrecognizable as she debuted a bob haircut at Gucci’s FW26 Fashion Show during Milan Fashion Week, a big departure from her typical long locks.

The Substance star’s cut was done by her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, who shared some insight into the decision to change things up and the vision they were going for.

“I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion forward look for Demna’s show. It is inspired by the silhouettes of the new collection,” Giannetos shared, according to Allure. “I felt an amazing, short, above-the-shoulder bob with this very sleek wet texture would be perfect to complement her look.”

“It’s a big change for Demi — we’ve never seen her like this before!” he added. “She looks very cool, effortless and modern. And it highlights her personality.”

Giannetos also posted some snaps of Moore’s sleek haircut on his Instagram, naming the cut “Demi-tris BoB” in the caption.

As for the rest of her look, the Oscar-nominated actress — who worked with stylist Brad Goreski — went for an edgy vibe with an all-black ensemble, wearing tight leather pants with a matching jacket, pointed-toe heels, a shoulder bag, and large sunglasses. Of course, Moore sat front row at the Gucci show and had her Micro Chihuahua, Pilaf, in hand.

The Landman actress discussed her mane in a January interview with People, noting that long hair was her favorite style.

“It feels most like me,” she told the outlet. “Being able to change my look with wigs and pieces feeds my need for change but at the end of the day I love taking it down seeing my hair fall past my waist. It’s like coming home.”
