Dave Grohl and Wife Jordyn Blum Reunite in Public for 1st Time Since His Love Child Revelation

Dave Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum publicly reunited for the first time since he admitted to fathering a child outside of their 21-year marriage.

The Foo Fighters frontman, 56, was photographed leaving a house in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and getting into Jordyn’s BMW SUV while carrying a duffle bag on Sunday, February 9.

In the snapshots obtained by Page Six, the duo was pictured in the front seat with Jordyn, 48, driving, while both were wearing their wedding rings. The pair seemed to be having an animated conversation, while the outlet reported that Dave and Jordyn were headed to a mutual friend’s house for dinner.

The reunion comes five months after Dave admitted in a social media post that he welcomed a child with another woman. He has yet to reveal the identity of the baby’s mother.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” the “My Hero” singer began in an Instagram post on September 10, 2024.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued. Dave and Jordyn share three daughters: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10. They’ve been married since August 2, 2003.

The musician told fans, “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Dave and Jordyn were photographed separately, not wearing their wedding rings, while out and about in Los Angeles on October 7, 2024. She was on a grocery store run while he visited a friend’s house.

“He’s gone from being rock god to scumbag overnight, it’s changed the dynamic and he hates it,” a source exclusively told In Touch on October 11, 2024. “But he’s got to go along if he wants to save his marriage. Jordyn and the kids are his life.”

The insider continued, “He admits he was wrong, but he’s under total scrutiny, he has no freedom. He’s offering up phone text messages and constantly apologizing and going to therapy. He’s trying to be a good dad but at the same time it’s frustrating and he doesn’t understand that these things can take months, even years to fix.”

Jordyn “wants to make the marriage work but she doesn’t trust Dave. She’s torn,” an insider exclusively told In Touch on October 29, 2024, adding that her pals were pressuring her to divorce the former Nirvana drummer.

“Jordyn doesn’t want to be impetuous or emotional about this,” said the source. “She doesn’t want to break up her family, but her marriage is broken and she’s not sure if it’s repairable.”

Dave showed there was unity in his family again when he was joined onstage by daughter Violet during his FireAid concert Nirvana reunion on January 30.

While getting back behind the drums, Dave was joined by Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear in place of the late Kurt Cobain. Violet took over Kurt’s vocals for a performance of the band’s legendary hit “All Apologies.”

Violet previously toured with the Foo Fighters as a backup singer, while Dave has praised her musical abilities.

“Violet is an incredibly talented musician,” he told the BBC in January 2021. “She can pick up an instrument and learn it within a week. She has perfect pitch and sings from her gut. And she’s well aware that she’s the best vocalist in the Grohl family.”
