Cuba Gooding Jr. Accused of Groping Woman at New York City Night Club

The New York Police Department is investigating a claim that Cuba Gooding Jr. groped a woman at a night club in New York City on Sunday, June 9, In Touch can confirm.

According to Page Six, the 30-year-old woman told cops that the 51-year-old grabbed her breast while they were out at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge on 7th Avenue in Midtown. The woman noted that the Hollywood actor was “highly intoxicated.” Additionally, the woman and Cuba got into a fight which had to be broken up by security.

Cuba was spotted on video leaving the club shortly after the incident occurred, and the woman called 911 around 1 a.m. By the time the officers showed up to the scene, he was nowhere to be found.

The New York native appeared to be drunk in several Instagram videos posted by fans. In one clip, he sang Journey’s song “Faithfully” surrounded by many people. In another video, he filmed a video message for one fan in Portuguese and seemed to be having a great time.

This isn’t the first time the Jerry Maguire star has gotten into trouble, either. In 2016, the Oscar winner gave a drunk speech at an awards show. “Nothing says I love you like f—king sugar,” he told the crowd at the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York via an Instagram video. “F—king boxed lunched. I’m drunk now, motherf—kers. Deal with it.” That same year, Cuba was seen partying at a club in Miami without his shirt on and looked like he was a hot mess.

Cuba was married to his high school sweetheart, Sara Kapfer, for 20 years until she filed for legal separation in 2014. Then, Cuba filed for divorce in January 2017. Since then, A Few Good Men alum has been linked to Claudine De Niro. The duo was spotted getting cozy in October and since then, they traveled to Miami together.
