Brody Jenner’s Mom Linda Thompson ‘Likes’ Instagram Comments Calling Kaitlynn Carter ‘Disrespectful’

The “likes” say it all. Although Brody Jenner’s mom, Linda Thompson, hasn’t publicly spoken about her son’s breakup from Kaitlynn Carter and her PDA with Miley Cyrus, she has definitely been throwing some subtle shade.

“Silence is sometimes the best answer,” read a picture Linda, 69, posted on Instagram on August 12. “When feelings are ineffable, often it is better to say nothing at all. #speechless,” she captioned the telling image.

Linda went on to “like” and side-eye the comments left under the post referencing her son’s recent drama. “I think she’s so hurt and trying to get his attention!! Not the way to do it but sad all around!!” read one comment the mom gave a thumbs up to. “Speechless is right! When you are married to Brody or Liam, I mean some of the best-looking guys on this planet. What the heck?!” wrote another user.

One comment went on to defend Kaitlynn’s public displays of affection with Miley, 26, writing, “Why is everyone making a big deal about her kissing Miley? Girls make out all the time when they are having fun or drunk. I don’t get it,” to which another user replied, “Maybe because it’s disrespectful to the family.” Linda made sure to throw that reply a “like.”

This isn’t the first time Linda has been active on Instagram since the scandal broke. “Always so proud of your dignity, generosity, kindness & nobility,” the famous mom wrote in the comments section of the Hills: New Beginnings star’s Instagram photo. “You are a gentleman and I love you very much. Onward …”

The new bachelor has previously opened up about his close relationship with his mom, and even called her his “rock.” It seems like she gives some sound advice, too. “Everything in life is forgivable, and it’s not even for the other person, it’s for yourself. You have to forgive, so it doesn’t eat away inside you,” Linda previously said in reference to Brody’s strained relationship with his father Caitlyn Jenner — We can assume she would advise similar in the wake of her son’s breakup.
