Beth Chapman’s Daughter Claps Back at Insta Troll Amid Mom’s Coma: ‘I Will Not Tolerate It!’
She’s shutting it down. Bonnie Chapman opened up about being pansexual in a candid Instagram post shared back in March, and she’s now slamming an online troll who said that it is an “abomination of Christianity.” As fans know, she’s going through a lot at the moment as her mom, Beth Chapman, was recently placed in a medically induced coma while fighting for her life.
Bonnie, 20, made the confession about her sexuality several weeks ago. “For the past seven years, I’ve kept kind of a big secret to myself. I’m pansexual, now I’m sure the term is familiar with some people. It means to me I fall in love with personalities, rather than a gender,” she began.
“I haven’t told many people until now. I was so scared when I told my parents in November, but they welcomed me with open arms,” she continued. “I appreciate those who knew and kept it a secret, thank you for letting me take my time. I truly am so thankful to you all.” Bonnie even told anyone to unfollow her if it upset them, but clearly, some people aren’t taking the memo.
On Tuesday, June 25, Bonnie shared someone’s comment via her Instagram Stories which said, “pansexual, bisexual, homosexual and so forth are an abomination of Christianity. Read your bible, it will tell you,” and she fired back, “Don’t even try pissing me off right now. I will not tolerate it.”
After seeing their interaction, another person sent her a private message. “She told you the truth, so you want pity for your mother after you publicly admit it and lead people astray. Your prayers if you pray fall on deaf ears. Keep your sexuality to yourself if you don’t want others’ opinions,” it read. Hopefully the haters will lay off Bonnie during this extremely tough time.
Sadly, Beth’s health recently took a turn for the worst amid her cancer battle. The Dog’s Most Wanted star, 51, was admitted into the ICU at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu on June 22, and was put in a medically induced coma. The Chapman family later released a statement asking “everyone to please pray for Beth.” They also thanked fans for their continued well-wishes.
