Beth Chapman Stays Positive With New Selfie Amid Chemo Treatments: '#ItsOnlyHair'

She’s just a ray of shining light. Dog The Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman shared a brand new selfie on January 22, along with a message about staying positive amid her cancer battle. Duane “Dog” Chapman’s wife continues to inspire others with her bravery and strength.

“#dogwgna history in the making #dogsmostwanted #cancersucks #stayhumblepray #itsonlyhair,” Beth, 51, captioned her new photo on Instagram. Several fans sent her well-wishes in the comment section, rooting her on during this tough time. “Get well soon Beth. I’ll be praying for you,” one wrote, while another sweetly chimed in, “Looking beautiful as always. Stay strong muah.”

Beth started chemotherapy in December to combat the cancer which spread to her throat and lungs. “The treatments are in Los Angeles. They are going well, but they certainly take their toll on her,” the family’s attorney, Andrew R. Brettler of Lavely & Singer, tells Us Weekly on January 22.

“The Chapmans have a lot on their plate right now,” the family attorney continued. “They just started filming for the new WGN show while Beth’s been going through treatment. “It hasn’t been easy, but they are keeping a great outlook and Beth is one of the strongest women I know.”

In November, Beth discovered that her cancer is back after having emergency surgery. It was especially tough to process for the reality star, who had previously been cancer-free for over a year. Beth and Dog, 65, have been married for 12 years, and he recently opened up about how inspired he is by his wife’s sense of humor — even when she’s facing huge obstacles in life.

“She’s still trying to get involved in my bounties and business,” Dog exclusively told In Touch magazine. “She’s trying to still advise me on my work, and I’m like, ‘Honey, I was Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you, stay out of it!’ And she woke up the other night and told me, ‘You’re so damn stupid, if I die you’re going to lose the farm,’ and I said, ‘Beth, we don’t have a farm.’” We’re keeping the Chapmans in our thoughts.

Dog’s Most Wanted premieres on WGN America in 2019.
