Jessi opened up about where she stands with Jordan during the May 20, 2025, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast.

After noting that she was not wearing her wedding ring during the podcast interview, she said that she and Jordan were “working through things.”

“We’re trying our best — but things are a little tricky right now,” she continued of their relationship status. “I’m excited to hopefully someday share more about that. But right now it’s just real life and it’s hard.”

Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives – which premiered on May 15, 2025 – ended with Marciano alleging that he and Jessi had an affair.

“We have tried meeting up [to continue the affair],” he claimed at the time. “Jordan doesn’t know the truth about how extensive it was. It was not just a one-time hookup thing. It was not some one night stand.”

Teaser footage from upcoming episodes then showed Jordan questioning if Marciano’s claims were true. “This is going to be headlines. The truth always reveals itself,” he explained. Jessi then said, “He knows that this is ruining my family and my life.”

While appearing on “The Viall Files,” Jessi admitted she couldn’t “say much” about the affair claims. However, she hinted there was “so much more” to the story than what was featured on season 2.

“Relationships are hard and they’re nuanced. There’s so much more that I’m excited to share because I think people will be able to relate to my story,” the Hulu star said, hinting that the drama will continue to play out on season 3. “I think it may help people.”

Jessi also added that she was “good at taking accountability” for her actions. “I own my s–t and I am excited to someday tell the full story and fall on my sword and take accountability for certain things,” she said. “But I also want to open up a bigger conversation that I think needs to happen.”

Jessi and Jordan share a daughter and a son. Meanwhile, Jordan is also the father to daughter Peyton from a previous relationship.

While speaking to “The Viall Files” host Nick Viall, Jessi was asked if she believed Jordan was a “role model” for their daughters.

“No, I think that there’s been a lot that’s happened,” she said. “I think that he and I are both willing to work on things and change. But maybe he should be asked that question because that might wake him up. But no, I think there’s a lot of things that have needed to change.”
