Anna Duggar was spotted out with her wedding ring on her finger on the same day she paid a visit to husband Josh Duggar in prison.
The mom of seven, 36, was photographed at her sons’ basketball game in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on December 10. She appeared to be in good spirits, smiling and laughing as she locked her car and carried a bundle of bags in one arm. Anna sported a pair of light wash jeans for the outing, as well as a black T-shirt, a gray plaid blazer and white sneakers. Her wedding ring was also visible.
Anna’s outing in Arkansas came on the same day that she was spotted visiting Josh, 36, at the Federal Correctional Institution Seagoville in Dallas, Texas, where the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children is currently serving a 12.5-year prison sentence for receiving and possessing child pornography.
For her visit to the prison, Anna wore a cream-colored sweater with brown sleeves and jeans, as seen in photos published by The U.S. Sun. Josh was also photographed for the first time in two years at FCI Seagoville.
While Josh is serving his prison sentence, Anna and their seven children have been living on Jim Bob, 59, and Michelle’s family compound in Tontitown, Arkansas. Anna’s family reportedly moved into a “windowless warehouse” on the compound before Josh’s arrest in 2021, The U.S. Sun reported on December 5.

“Anna has been seen bringing her sons to basketball games weekly and watching them play from the stands,” a source told the publication. “She socializes with people and appears to have made friends with basketball parents.”
The insider added that Anna often visits Josh despite being more than 350 miles away from her husband, and she has even brought their kids along.

“Normally the only thing I’ve seen is Anna and then their kids, I don’t really know anybody else,” the insider added.
Anna has kept an extremely low profile since Josh’s arrest, and her December 10 outings marked the first times she was photographed in public in more than two years. She faced severe backlash for her decision to stand by her husband after he was found guilty. However, Anna continued to show her support for Josh by writing a letter to the judge requesting a light sentence.
“Joshua is an engaged dad who gladly throws a football with his sons, listens to our daughters play a new song they have learned on the piano, helps answer homework questions or lends a hand sweeping up spilled crackers,” she wrote in 2022. “He is a kind, loving, supportive, and caring father and husband — his primary focus in life. I ask that you consider reuniting us as a family again soon. I understand the seriousness of this matter, however, I respectfully ask that you take this letter into consideration when determining a fair sentence.”
Anna has seemingly distanced herself from some of Josh’s family members, including sister Jill Dillard (née Duggar) and cousin Amy King (née Duggar), who both appeared in Prime Video’s 2023 Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets documentary discussing Josh’s conviction, among other topics. Jill, 33, opened up about her relationship with Anna in a September 2023 interview with Access Hollywood.
“We have not been in contact with Anna,” she explained. “I have seen her on a few occasions, but I also want to respect. I know she’s asked for some space, so we want to respect that as well.”
Jill continued, “I think when you are learning to set boundaries in your own life, you also learn to respect other people’s boundaries. So, I cannot imagine all that she’s going through. I have no idea why Anna has decided to stay with Josh, and what she is dealing with there and everything. I have no idea, and I’m just, I guess, watching with everybody else, kind of just what unfolds.”
