Paul and Karine Staehle to Star on the New TLC Spinoff, ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’

Brace yourselves, 90 Day Fiancé fans! TLC’s hit reality TV series spawned three spinoffs, and the network is adding another one to the franchise. On June 3, TLC is set to premiere its newest spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. This version flips the original premise of 90 Day Fiancé on its head: instead of documenting a foreigner’s journey to America for love, cameras will follow Americans who will relocate to a foreign country to marry their significant others and start a new life together.

But viewers will notice two very familiar faces on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way — 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days stars Paul and Karine Staehle! The couple documented their love story as Paul relocated to Brazil to be with Karine, and they will be joining five new couples with stories similar to theirs. Cory and Evelin

Cory 31, and Evelin, 26, have been dating for four years and they met after Cory traveled to Evelin’s home country of Ecuador. But Evelin does not want to come to the United States, so Cory is taking the big step and relocating.

Tiffany and Ronald

Tiffany, 27, and Ronald, 29, met while she was on a trip to South Africa. Ronald proposed to her, but Tiffany later learned that he had been struggling with a gambling addiction and also had a criminal record. But even though Ronald went to rehab for treatment, she isn’t sure if she’s ready to relocate with her 8-year-old son to be with a man with a shady past.

Laura and Aladin

Laura, 51, and Aladin, 29, met on Facebook. After eight months of dating long distance, they met in person for the first time after Laura visited Aladin in Qatar and they were engaged days later. Now Laura is planning to relocate to be with her younger man.

Deavan and Jihoon

Deavan is a 22-year-old single mom who meat Jihoon, 29, on a dating app. He flew to Salt Lake City to meet Deavan in person for the first time, and they learned they were pregnant shortly after. Deavan is ready to pack up and move to South Korea to raise her family with Jihoon, but a language barrier and parent issues might get in their way.

Jenny and Sumit

Jenny, 60, and Sumit, 30, met when he catfished her online. After Sumit revealed the truth about his identity, she forgave him and still traveled to India to meet him in person. But their trip ended on a bad note because Sumit’s family did not accept her. The Palm Springs, California native is ready to move to India and leave everything behind to marry Sumit, and he plans to hide their marriage from his family.

Paul and Karine

When fans last saw the couple on TV, Paul, 36, was living in Brazil and Karine, 23, had just announced that they were pregnant and expecting their first child together. The couple will continue to document Karine’s pregnancy and their journey to parenthood.
