Are ’90 Day Fiance’ Stars Deavan and Jihoon Still Together After Season 2 of ‘The Other Way’?

Are Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee still together? The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars returned for season 2 of the hit TLC series, but it seemed like they were still facing issues in their relationship as they prepared to start their lives together as a family of four with son Taeyang and Deavan’s daughter, Drascilla. In real life, the couple already confirmed their split — and the American has moved on with someone new.

On August 22, the South Korea native revealed on Instagram Live that he and his wife were no longer together. “So I can’t tell everything because the show [is] not finished. They will be happy and I need to be happy. Just, I will live my own life,” he said. However, he didn’t share any hate for his ex. “We are living our own life, that’s our future,” he continued. “So just keep watching. Just keep [supporting me] getting [a] better life and please pray for Deavan and Taeyang, [for] their family life.”

When it comes to coparenting, Jihoon revealed they have plans for Deavan and the kids to visit when the kids aren’t in school. “[Deavan] said every summertime, she [will] go back to Korea with Taeyang. She promised, so we can see Taeyang,” he shared.

Things first seemed to go sour for the couple during the Monday, June 15, episode. On the show, Deavan and Jihoon discussed their plans for her permanent move back to South Korea, and it seemed like the couple’s main source of tension had to do with money. “I am worried about going to Korea because right now I can’t trust Jihoon,” Deavan said. “I trust that he loves us, but I don’t trust him financially and with promises.”

In the August 3 episode, they continued to clash even as they tried to put their issues behind them. When Jihoon tried to come clean about how he felt about their relationship, he admitted he “didn’t take [his relationship with Deavan] seriously” because they were “long-distance.” Once she moved to South Korea, he realized he needed to step up financially for his wife, son and stepdaughter.

“Please, just listen to me. Please. [When] Taeyang [was] born, reality hit. I make [a] mistake. I will change,” he promised. He even had his mom withdraw $3,000 he had in her savings account so he could give it to his wife to find an apartment for them all to live in. “So sorry, [for] everything,” he said. “I do really love you.”

However, in April or May, Deavan moved back stateside. On Twitter, she hinted there was a “horrible reason” she moved back, promising that the “truth will come out eventually.” She added that there was major “damage that was done” in her relationship and said she had “scars she’s trying to repair.”

The couple was introduced to fans during season 1 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff. Deavan explained they met on an international dating app and their relationship progressed very quickly. After three months of dating online, Jihoon traveled to the United States to meet the Utah native in person for the first time. They conceived their son, Taeyang, on the first night they were together.

Jihoon proposed to Deavan during season 1, and the couple decided it would be best for her to relocate to South Korea so that Deavan could be a stay-at-home mom while Jihoon worked. During her time in South Korea, the couple tied the knot legally and then celebrated their marriage with a traditional wedding ceremony. After they got married, Deavan returned to the states to wait there with Taeyang and Drascilla until Jihoon got his finances in order. In season 2, the whole family reunited in Asia, but it seems things didn’t work out. Fans may have to wait until the tell-all special to find out just what went down.
