So, Apparently Cleveland Cavs Fans Think Khloé Kardashian Has Cursed Tristan Thompson

Do you believe in the Kardashian Curse? Cleveland Cavaliers fans apparently do. After the Cavs lost this year’s NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors, supporters of the Ohio-based basketball team immediately placed blame on player Tristan Thompson’s girlfriend, Khloé Kardashian.

Back in May, a Cavs fan took to Twitter to let it be known that they thought Tristan’s involvement with KoKo, 33, had something to do with the struggles the team faced leading up to the finals. In response to a tweet about an article that suggested Khloé was ready to marry the 26-year-old athlete, the fan wrote, "Nah fam @khloekardashian we good on yalls curse.”

But the Strong Looks Better Naked author — who is currently pregnant and expecting her first child with Tristan — was quick to clap back. "Only stupid people believe stupid rumors. Please don't give me that much power,” she replied in a biting tweet. “Lol fool that you are.” Indeed, anyone who thinks dating queen Khloé is a bad thing is undoubtedly a fool. She is arguably the best Kardashian sister of all, and Tristan's fans should consider their romance a blessing.

One month before Khloé denied that she was the root of the Cavs’ less-than-perfect performance, another disgruntled fan started a petition urging the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star to break up with Tristan. And, yes, they cited the Kardashian Curse as well.

"It is almost that time of year again-where we prepare for our long trek back to the NBA Finals. However, this year as the defending champs, we’ve been in sort of a funk," the petition read, according to Sports Illustrated. "And it all has to do with the Kardashian Curse. One of our most beloved athletes, Tristan Thompson, has taken it upon himself to date Khloe Kardashian and by doing so, invited the curse into Cleveland. The curse has been ruthless to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The curse is nothing new however- it has plagued professional athletes such as James Harden, Lamar Odom, Kris Humphries, and now our beloved TT. This is no coincidence. This is the Kardashian Curse in play. And it needs to end now.”

Despite Cavs fans’ negative opinions about Khloé and Tristan’s relationship, the couple seem to be more in love then ever — and can’t wait to welcome their bundle of joy early next year. The expectant E! personality seemingly expressed her enthusiasm over first-time parenthood when she affectionately called Tristan “daddy” in the comments section of a Dec. 7 Instagram post.
