She chose herself. Bailee Wallace dramatically took herself out of the competition for Colton Hendricks‘ heart on Farmer Wants a Wife season 3. In Touch looks at why she quit the show.
Why Did Bailee Quit ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 3?
Bailee was upset that Colton was having trouble deciding on who should continue among his remaining three contestants and took herself out of the competition in the May 8, 2025, episode.
The cattle rancher had a fireside chat with Bailee, Zoe Green and Keeley Goldberg, expressing how he thought each of them could make a good partner.
“I’ve had a great time with all of y’all,” Colton told them. “It’s definitely a weird thing to think about, like, what my life could be with each one of y’all. I don’t know. They all seem good. They all seem really good. But it’s just like, which one?”
Colton also spoke about being “unsure” and not having “an answer” about how to proceed with his contestants.
That statement didn’t go over well with Bailee, who became emotional when it was clear Colton’s feelings for her weren’t enough to put her ahead of Zoe and Keeley.
The coffee stand worker pulled Colton aside for an emotional discussion, telling him how she needed to be “wanted” and wasn’t “getting that here.” When Colton replied back that he “totally understood,” he gave Bailee all the more reason to take herself out of the running.
“I can’t choose between the three of you right now. I’m so damn indecisive,” he told her. “If I was in your shoes, I would probably be fed up with it as well.”
Bailee Decided to Quit ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ After Not Hearing What She Needed From Colton
When Colton told Bailee that there were “a lot of things about you that I really like, but I still haven’t made up my mind,” it was enough for the Castle Rock, Washington, native to call it a day.
Bailee explained to Colton that she loved herself “enough to be like, you know what, if you’re still unsure, it would just be best for me to send myself home.'”
When the farmer didn’t fight for her to stay and simply replied, “I get it,” Bailee left the show. “I am not what Colton is looking for and he is not what I need,” she stated upon exiting.
Colton Hendricks Found Love on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 3
Even though things didn’t work out with Bailee, Colton is happy with how his season turned out. He was looking for more than just a wife, as he is the father of a young son and wanted his child to be OK with his choice.
“My son is super happy,” Colton exclusively told In Touch on April 10, 2025, of how the toddler felt about his final pick. “We’re always happy around here. We live and we learn.”
The Mena, Arkansas, rancher made it clear early on that his son would play a pivotal role in his final decision.
“He’s the most important thing in my life. You can pretty much change everything about your life except for your kids,” Colton explained about his views on dating during the reality show. “For me, I’m looking at more aspects than what’s on the surface level with these girls.”
Colton stated how his unique position made him different from the three other farmers on his season, including Jay Woods, Matt Warren and John Sansone, since he was a divorced dad.
“I’m in the worst position out of all these guys to find love because I’ve already been married and divorced and statistically, if you’ve already been married and divorced, you’re more likely to get divorced on the next one,” he explained.
“So, there’s a lot of guys that are very easy going on some things and it’s like, for me, I’m super strict on a lot of things,” he added about what he was looking for in a long-term partner.
