Fans first met Rayne Fernandez and Chidi Ikpeamaeze during 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7, but the couple’s relationship was a tumultuous one. They ultimately decided to end things before the season ended, but viewers were still excited to hear their story. However, at the beginning of part 1 of the season 7 tell-all, host Shaun Robinson stated that Rayne and Chidi were not going to be joining their costars and fans are wondering why.

Why Aren’t 90 Day Fiance’s Rayne and Chidi on the Tell-All?

In October 2024, Rayne claimed that she and Chidi had been “uninvited” to the season 7 tell-all.

“LOL, me who has no guts singing in front of people was willing to since Chidi wanted to hear me sing so bad and I loved him,” Rayne wrote via Threads, per blogger Shabooty. “I was planning on performing ‘Don’t Forget About Us’ by Mariah Carey at the tell all. Preferably without crying.”

She continued, “But luckily we were both Uninvited due to all the negativity. As Well as that can’t be done on television, finding out [at the] last minute. This was before all his hatred towards me started spilling out all over the internet. Just saying.”

What Happened to Rayne and Chidi During ‘90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days’?

Despite only appearing in a handful of episodes in season 7, Rayne and Chidi’s relationship was one of the most dramatic. Their time on the show mostly focused on Rayne’s arrival in Nigeria and her arguments with some of Chidi’s family members. Rayne was disappointed to learn about Chidi’s commitment to abstaining from sex until they were married. Due to this, Chidi wanted Rayne to stay with his sister instead of at his home.

However, Chidi claimed to have informed Rayne about his abstinence before she arrived.

“The primary issue is the decision not to have sex or share a bed until we are married. While this is a decision I have made, I want to make clear that I informed Rayne about this before she came to Nigeria,” Chidi wrote via Instagram in September 2024, per Starcasm. “Upon hearing this, she reacted with overwhelming anger, threatening to cancel her visit and later changing her mind.”

During the October 6, 2024, episode, Chidi ended his relationship with Rayne after a heated argument erupted between her and his sister. She also accused him of only wanting to marry her to obtain his visa, but he adamantly denied her accusations.

“If I really want the visa, I would have submitted. Which includes having sex with Rayne,” Chidi told the producers during a confessional. “But I will not sell my soul for a visa. I wanted to marry her cause I love her deeply for five years.”

90 Day Fiance’s Rayne Has Called Out Chidi on Social Media Since Their Split

Rayne hasn’t held back her feelings when it comes to Chidi, and she’s often slammed him on social media.

“No matter how much money was thrown at me, I would never put my friend or loved one in a position where something or somebody will hurt them. By the way I was treated in nigeria, You can clearly see who does not have a soul. Just a dark vibration of what he once was. Ever since that sister got involved , his life went down hill,” Rayne wrote via Threads on January 7, 2025.

In a separate post, she added, “As I was walking away on the last day in nigeria. The last word that I ever heard from his mouth were… I havent loved you in over two years , No guy would ever love you.Who would want somebody like you. And so on.. Then I got in the elevator.”

‘90 Day Fiance’ Star Rayne Slammed Rumors She Was ‘Fired’

In an emotional video on Instagram, Rayne accused her ex of spreading the rumor that she wasn’t going to the tell-all because she was going to kill herself.

“That guy’s not worth it. He’s never been worth it. I would never do something like that,” she said in a clip posted on January 17, 2025. “So for him to be telling the whole world now that I was gonna kill myself because I didn’t attend the tell-all.”

Instead, she listed two reasons why she didn’t attend the season 7 tell-all. She said she wasn’t “allowed” to “confront the whole situation,” alluding to events that happened off camera.

“And two, you wanted to take your sister and your brother, and one of your little friends, to go, try to like basically fight with me,” she continued. “I’m not in for that. So, therefore, I said no. I’m not fired.”

A few days later, Rayne provided more insight into her decision not to participate in the season’s tell-all, explaining to fans that she had given the production team plenty of advance notice.

“Production of course wouldn’t allow me to talk about their involvement and as well as the truth of what really happened,” she explained on January 20, 2025. “They also wouldn’t let me confront just Chidi. They also wanted me to fight with the sister, and continued on with the drama.”

She added, “Judging by the way they edited me, I knew that it would be pretty badly edited again. I knew that there are just gonna try and make me look like a fool.”
