Survivor season 48 kicked off with 18 castaways who were ready to risk it all for the coveted $1 million prize. While some contestants stood out in front of host Jeff Probst, some fell short and were voted off the island and eliminated.
Week 12 saw Kyle Fraser and Kamilla Karthigesu use their secret alliance to oust another member. They put a target on another castaway with a lie that included a hidden immunity idol. The pair preyed on frontrunner Joe Hunter‘s propensity for paranoia to see if he would trust a close ally or believe their ruse.
Joe winning a fourth immunity challenge put him in the driver’s seat at tribal council, where his decision was revealed.
