Podcast host Vee Rivera opens up about her future career goals, including a possible solo project, while continuing to host her podcast.
“I’m not replacing anything. I do want to start a little like a solo project. It’s not really gonna be necessarily like a podcast, at least not at the moment,” Vee, 32, exclusively tells In Touch. “I don’t think but it is something that I am really excited about. It’s kind of me going into my own solo direction.”
She goes on to say that solo projects are not a foreign idea to her as she previously hosted podcast episodes without a cohost.
“I think people really took on to that, and they really liked it and enjoyed it. So I think that gave me the push to like, want to do something solo. And it’s just very motivational like very much,” she explains. “I’m someone I just like to lift women up. And I like to talk about the things that sometimes I feel like we might feel like it’s hard to talk about like as moms and as women in business and things like that, and just like the hard, raw things I want to talk about, and just being real and being able to connect with people like that.”
She decided to step away from one podcast in November 2024 calling it the “end of an era.”
“This is not a decision I made lightly but for the mental health and overall well being of myself and my family,” Vee shared via Instagram at the time. “I felt like I was doing you all a disservice by not being able to be as transparent about everything as you all have come to expect. As the kids get older their access to these conversations becomes easier and I want to maintain as much of my family’s privacy as I can across the board.”
However, she remains a cohost on the “Vibin’ & Kinda Thrivin’” podcast alongside pal Alessandra Gonzalez, and also recently announced the Chisme Corner.
“This is a space where we are judgement FREE, especially when it comes to ourselves. We all have our ups, downs, and in betweens but it’s all about how we navigate this thing called life,” the description on her YouTube page reads. “Here we get to talk about all those things together with an open mind, an open heart, a LOT of humor, and straight up vibes! Vamos a chismear, chismosas!”
While Vee is looking to expand her career in many ways, she tells In Touch that moving for a job is out of the question.
“I definitely can’t move at this point, like my sister just moved her whole life to Delaware, too. So, and my husband has his son out here, so there’s definitely no moving,” she says. “I think the kids are pretty settled in Delaware, but I don’t mind the travel if it ever came down to it.”
