Jay & Pamela stars Jay Manuel and Pamela Chavez have tied the knot and In Touch can exclusively confirm when their nuptials took place.

According to online records viewed by In Touch, they got married on November 6, 2024.

The newlyweds, who both live with osteogenesis imperfecta type 3, reflected on the exciting news via Instagram on Wednesday, April 24, along with professional photos from the exciting day.

“I promise you Forever,” Pamela, 30, captioned her post.

Jay, 28, for his part, shared a heartwarming message while celebrating saying “I do” to the love of his life.

“Glad the doctors didn’t get the final say on our lives @jefamelaofficial,” he wrote. “They told our families we wouldn’t make it past childhood. But here we are. Married. In love. Alive. And more ourselves than we’ve ever been. This day wasn’t just about a wedding. It was about joy, family, and honoring how far we’ve come. We felt the love in every moment.”

Jay thanked their family, friends, officiant and loved ones whom they lost for supporting their relationship all the way to the aisle.

“Love like ours isn’t rare. It’s just rarely shown. Disabled love is real. Disabled joy is real. And we deserve beautiful lives too,” Jay concluded his post. “We’re just getting started. And no matter what comes next, we’re proud to be living this life together.”

Pamela donned a white wedding dress with stitched red, blue and green floral designs while paying homage to her Mexican-American heritage. She completed the bridal look with a veil.

Meanwhile, Jay looked snazzy in a blue suit and also honored Pamela’s heritage by wearing a black sombrero with white stitching.

Pamela’s bridesmaids donned differing styles of purple dresses, while Jay’s groomsmen wore black suits and purple bow ties.

The couple’s fur baby, Cheddar, was a part of the ceremony and sat on his dad’s lap while posing for family photos. After saying “I do,” Jay and Pamela signed their marriage certificate and cut into their wedding cake.

Fans watched Jay get emotional over the state of his relationship with Pamela as they continue to fight the brittle bone disease during the Monday, April 21, episode of their TLC show.

“I don’t think about dying a lot,” Jay said in a confessional clip alongside Pamela. “But sometimes you don’t know what the future is going to hold. No matter what happens in our lives, at least I got to meet someone I really love, you know? I’m just really grateful for that.”

The pair made their reality TV debut when Jay & Pamela season 1 premiered on TLC in March.

During the first episode, Jay shared that he is a transgender male.

“Once I started to realize that I was actually a guy, was probably somewhere in high school,” Jay reflected at the time. “I just didn’t have the words to articulate how I felt. I’ve been out to my family for over five years now and I’m just really grateful that I have, you know, a great partner and my parents are accepting off the bat.”

Despite Jay and Pamela’s condition, the pair has discussed the possibility of expanding their legacy and having kids in the future.

“It’s not off the table at all,” Pamela told Parade in March. “It’s an ongoing conversation, and I mean just in general, I mean, parenthood is already a huge responsibility in general … So yeah, I don’t know, there’s a lot of things that I said I would never do and then like, here I am.”
